Lately

so i've been feeling sick to my stomach lately, and a few days ago i decided to draw a self portrait about it! it's me with a bunch of my internal organs in my lap. i swear i've not gone insane--internal organs are just really fun to draw!!

other than that, i've been sketching a little and working on v's comic a little, and i've been working on tiny portraits of each of my friends (you guys). so far, i've got the drawings of dean, v, marguerite, most of wisti, most of matt, and the beginnings of ivy. when i'm done with all the drawings (they're on watercolor paper, and a bit bigger than playing cards), i'm going to watercolor them! they should be pretty nifty when i'm finally done, so i'm excited!

i've also been working on an alphabet book for extra credit in french class, which, incidentally, is what i should be doing NOW, so i'm going to go do that. our oral exams are tomorrow and our written final's on wednesday; eek! it is going so fast!

i actually got a lot done at d&d last night. weird!

surprise, v! it's going to be a comic.

the day v got back from africa, we talked on aim for a bit and it was wonderful. i'd forgotten how much i missed her! SO, i started making a comic for her! i figure it can be an 'i missed you, i love you, i hope i don't drive you crazy next year' gift. i said something somewhere on facebook about giving her an update, so here it is!!

hello dears!

i'm starting an art blog! i doubt i'll update very regularly, but the more encouragement i get the more likely i am to update. i'm a comments whore; what can i say?

so i figure this'll just be a good place where i put up stuff i've made, stuff i'm making, and ideas for stuff i'll hopefully make in the future! i'm excited. i have a bunch of comics i've been drawing, and i wanted a place to put them (for now) besides facebook, because some of them have boobs and things that probably shouldn't be put on there. i might make this semi-private, because as much as i love the internet, i don't particularly want just anybody reading all of these. we'll see, we'll see.

this blog is, of course, named after my press! i'll probably put up some pictures of books and things, too, just for funsies.
